You could also try Stiga Clippa, its probably one of the best short pips that you'll ever use but its a bit dearer than the Friendship range so consider it carefully. I've also heard great things about the TSP range of short pips, a lot of top players play with TSP. A recent example would be Li Jia Wei of Singapore at the Olympics(even though she didn't win the bronze, she still bet Wang Nan with her style of play).
