I'm not a long pips user, but I can tell you what I've read and heard. The faster is supposed to be for agressive blocking and hitting. Not for chopping and not as deceptive as regular 755. More like the 837 I guess.

I just got a sample sheet of 755 "mystery" faster on some different sponge than the german. I have no idea how to use it though.
