The Mark V has been around for a very long time and is (generally) considered one of the classics. It is moderately fast and spinny, and a rubber that can do most anything fairly well.

The V Stage is one of a new breed of "Super Rubbers". I've never used it, but hear it is VERY fast and pretty spinny. I suspect it is NOT a good all-around rubber. It is probably most suitable for very good, very aggressive, power loopers.
