If you like everything about your blade except the blocking aspect i would practice more blocks with it until you get used to it. I use a nittaku kcz(faster than schlager carbon) and i am a beginner and it took about 75 hours with it before i was half way consistant with my blocks still have alot more practicing to do also what type of rubber do you use because you might just want to try a slower rubber with more control
