In general the softer and thicker the sponge the less reversal you're going to get and the more offensive ability.

837 is the most offensive oriented long pips i know of. The long pips pretty much just allow you to hit through any incoming spin.

755 faster gives more spin reversal on blocks, but keeps that kind of offensive ability.
