Sure. Many people pull them off and reglue them every time they play.

If they've been on a long time the first time may be a little harder. You can dribble a little lighter fluid into the crease.

When you first glue the rubber it will be relatively springy for a few hours. That will fade in a day or so. However, the sponge will have more life for a week or two...in a good way.
