I've got the G888 and it is a great spin and power rubber with a hard-ass sponge. Don't expect to be able to do much more than kill the ball and smash balls you never knew you could return before though.

I think Hurricane 2 and 3 have softer sponges and will allow better control and better feel, though I've got a carbon blade so the whole "touch" thing is pretty much numb to me. From what I've heard, Hurricane 2 is the best all-around attacker rubber than Hurricane 3 is more offensive than Hurricane 2. Hurricane 2 has more spin and like G888 you'll be able to kill the ball though it may be more dynamic allowing for more spinny loops and control loops.

I'm usually an offensive penholder but weird thing is I've got this motto, when in doubt, long pips out.
