The chinese style is serve and attack. They like sticky rubber and they like to close their rackets down all the way over the ball and hit it hard. They put a lot of spin and sidespin on their loops by breaking their wrist. They usually open with an attempted winner. Japanese/korean style is similar with even more emphasis on hitting hard (often flatter) with no reverse side to their pens. The euro style is to stand back and get into longer looping rallies. |
