Really I have not idea about thie blade. But I have a 9 years old son that is a club player, not a great player but not so bad..
He is capable to play with almost any blade, carbon, all wood defensive, even with broken blades.
I think control IS ON YOUR HAND not on any piece of wood or rubber. My advice is to practice any time you can.
