people who play in the usatt and ctta supervised tournaments earn points for their wins/progress. the higher the points, the better player you are considered. points accumulate to give one's rating. an average beginner level player is under 1500 .. 2000 marks the advanced level and beyond that, its top-class action. the top ranked players in usa/canada have 2900 or so rating i guess. |
