Most of their recent offerings have had this technology and it does make a little difference to the speed, making the rubber more playable without speed glue, it is certainly not a speed glue effect rubber though. In fact the speed and spin ratings are less than some of their current range (although you can't always trust these).
You would be much better with a sheet of 729 SP on Transcend sponge in my opinion.
