I think a medium speed, soft blade with your choice of short pips, and faster spinnier inverted on the other side would work best. Remember, when chopping with the short pips or pushing straight through the ball right after the bounce, will give you the best effect. Your opponents will make more mistakes due to your spin variations from the two different rubbers being used. When receiving serves, try to push back straight and low without imparting to much spin. This will cause the spin from your opponent to remain on the ball and come back at him (like long pips)and make the ball jump around when it bounces on his side of the table. |
