My problem used to be that I would order 3-4 different rubbers to try from China, I would decide That I liked the 1st one and order some more. While they were coming through the post, I would have tried a different one and decided that this one was slightly better ond order some of that one. Anyway to answer your question, your shots adjust to accommodate your new rubbers. Bat angles change a little first consciously and then subconsciously. If you have a complete change of rubber eg. from reverse to LP then your game would have to adapt to that and some players are better than others at this.
