My guess is that the answer here is: not really. Flextra by itself is decently spinny, not overly tacky or grippy, but the sponge is fairly soft so you get some mechanical spin (as they say). However, it is probably nothing next to a glued up member of the Sriver family. Sriver itself is not very tacky, hence the low spin rating. But with a good glue job the mechanical spin is probably very good (I've used Sriver, but that was in my pre-glueing days). So it depends. Unglued perhaps Flextra could outspin Sriver, whatever that means. Glued, it's Sriver hands down (since Flextra is not designed to respond well to glue). |
