I used a Dicon for about 3 years with Desto F2 & F3. Eventually I put Bryce FX on the forhand side to get more speed. It is a great control blade with excellent touch and feel. It may be a little slow for the 40mm ball. Waldner changed to the carbo senso to get more speed when the 40mm ball was introduced. I have gone to a Spintech Conquest blade that I like a lot
