I recently purchased a Stiga table and am having the same problem with the little "spots." At first I thought that it was water dripping on the table before I realized it was a mark left on the table from the ball bounce on it. I called the company that I purchased the table from and it sounds like it is a common occurance. Their suggestion was to wipe the table with a mildly damp (not wet) cloth. The rep also mentioned that the little "spots" do not affect the play of the table although I have noticed that the areas with a high concentration on spots seem to be grip the ball more that areas that do not have so many spots. It all seems odd to me because I don't see these marks on the tables at my club. I do not want to make this post too long so email for more info.
