| Well yeah, I'm not a penholder but I own two Darker Center carbon's. I've talked to jap pen players enough to know the 70 is extremely fast. Like KTS ++. So yeah, the thinner you go the slower. But not necessarily softer. You'll get more flex and dwell, but hinoki is so soft that at slow speeds even a thick blade can generate good spin. |
