1) 9010 is harder. The feel of Blue Thunder is closer to a wood blade than a carbon blade. It does not have that "carbon ping"

2) They both play similar close to the table, but Blue Thunder is definitly more powerful away from the table.

3) I found Blue Thunder better for mid to far distance. I found it difficult to block and push with close to the table.

4) I guess that would depend on your stroke, style and distance from the table.
