Start at the lower lefthand corner and slowly pull the rubber away from the wood diagonally, ending at the upper righthand corner of the blade. If you are working with a custom blade and rubber, the removal should be easy. If you're dealing with a prefab, you may need generous quantities of nail polish remover applied to loosen the sponge as you peel back.
