|Hi Fadil, I still maintain that the choices we have are are to either step away from the table and chop or stay at the table and attack with the long pips. In terms of long pips for chopping there are to many to count, in terms of long pips for attacking to my knowledge the best ones are: Friendship 755, Butterfly Feint AG and Hallmark Frustration. I have played with Friendship 755 (0.6 mm sponge) 3 times. In terms of counter driving with this stuff you almost have to do an inverted stroke, but the sink effect is very good. The frictionless chop block is also very good with it. As for passively blocking forget it, I played JRS Dallas on Sunday and being a lefty he naturally looped to my backhand and when I stuck out my racket semi closed the ball just took flight and sailed high and long. It is a nasty shock when you are used to seeing the ball dip short over the net loaded with back spin. I have some trying months ahead of me. My hope is that one of the manufacturers come out with attacking long pips with lots of nastiness. Thanks, Ben.|
