If you really want to chop, you may consider going to something in a 1.5 sponge. Dhs pf4-1 is a great chopping rubber. Slow and spinny. My problem when I use it is getting it over the net! Probably the best 729 for full-time chopping is the fx-c.

But if you're an offensive player who likes to throw in the occasional chop to throw off an attack, cream/mrs is way better than most euro/jap sponge rubbers.
