| I've just had my second evening's ping pong with Grizzly. I lost to three players I wouldn't expect to beat and to one that I usually just do beat! I couldn't always judge the right weight to put on the chop and so made a lot more mistakes than I would have done with Boomerang. Blocking is improving but didn't trouble the opposition too much. There was spin reversal, though. Attacking quite good. Overall quite encouraging, though LP it is not! A complication I didn't expect is that the extra weight on the backhand (I used to play with no sponge) upset my timing on the forhand. More practice on Wednesday evening. Will report back . |
