well firstly it is vital to watch the ball, this is because if you watch the ball from the opponets bat you can adjust to the right position to make the correct shot. also via looking at the ball you can see the angle of the bat to see which way the opposition are playing the ball. the only way you are struggling with the ball going passed you is via the opponent fading the ball. this is where the opposition look like they are going to play the ball one way but then change the angle of the bat in the other direction at the last second, but if watching the ball you can see the change in direction and then play the correct shot. |
