| Hi All, Having read the whole topic my advice to all of you is play with the frictionless long pips/pimples of your choice and then wait for the replacements and take it from there. The ITTF are not testing the rubbers by rubbing the ball over the rubber (as far as I know) and it is amazing with what can be achieved with modern technology. It is only 2 months until the Doctor comes out with his replacement and other brands like Hallmark, Donic and Joola will also have replacements. The rubbers you guys are trying out are not designed for the close to the table blocking/chop blocking strokes, but the replacements for rubbers like Super Block, Original and razor will be. So I myself am going to continue with my Original and replace it in July when I have to. Thanks, Ben |
