I've been using the 'spin max' paddle cleaner that a friend bought and it seems to make a big difference in rubber stickyness. The container and ingredients list (an MSDS)indicates 'heptanes' (95%)as the solvent, 'additives'(5%) as some other ingredient. I have some chemistry background, so I despise paying too much for a chemical just because it's packaged in a small container and wrapped in a label that has a stick figure playing table tennis. Are there and reliable substitutes to maximise/improve stickyness? Has anyone tried heptane as a cleaner? Home recipes that don't harm the rubber?
