USATT memberships can be purchased on the day of the tournament.

Reporting and Starting Times: Players must register at the desk no later than 15 minutes prior to the starting time for their earliest event.

Format of Play: It is the intent of the organizers that all players get to compete in numerous matches before possibly being eliminated. All events will feature round robin groups, leading into single or double elimination. Previously unrated players participating in the U-1600 event will be eligible to advance into the elimination bracket. Those eliminated from the round robin groups of the sanctioned events might have the opportunity to continue playing in a losers bracket on a non-rated basis. The tournament committee may change the format of play depending on turnout.

Eligibility: Current USATT members may sign up for the Open and U-1600 events. Non-members may join the USATT by paying the USATT membership fee with their entry. Players who have never been USATT members may buy a one time only Tournament Pass. USATT members cannot sign up for the recreational tournament. Those who sign up for the recreational tournament cannot sign up for any of the other events.

Registration: You can register here. The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 27, 2004. There will be a $5 fee for each late entry. All fees are payable in cash or check on the day of the tournament. Please address checks to “Princeton University Table Tennis Club”.

Equipment: Only USATT approved equipment will be used: Butterfly Europa, Butterfly National and Stiga tables, Butterfly Europa or National net sets, and orange 3-star Premium Nittaku balls. The floor is hardwood.

Clothing: The USATT Dress Code applies. The main color of shirts and shorts must be significantly different from the color of the ball (orange).

Umpires: All sanctioned semi-final and final matches will be umpired. An umpire can be provided for any other match at the request of any player in the match.

Awards: Prizes will be awarded in all categories.

Directions: Dillon Gym is about a 5-minute walk from the Princeton train station (you have to get off at Princeton Junction and take the shuttle train to Princeton). For those driving, you can enter the University from Faculty Road via Elm Drive. At the parking booth you will be directed to an appropriate place to park. Dillon Gym is located further up on the left side of Elm Drive after a double curve. An alternate parking location would be the parking lot next to the Wawa store at University Place. Please check the University map at http://www.princeton.edu/map for more details.
