i know this may sound alittle wierd but here goes

last year i ordered 2 pre-made paddles and i liked them but they had a very distinct smell which made me easily nausiated ... it was a bluedevil and a premade with 2 sides of p4f . i am currently using a stiga paddle and i does not have any smell at all.

my question
does all friendship stuff have this distinct smell ?? or is it the wood or glue they use on the cheaper pre-made paddles.. i have my eye on a new paddle setup but i wouldlike try from 729 but if it has that smell i need to look for something else =(
