Does anyone know how to properly clean a table tennis table? I recently dusted off my old table which has laid dormant in my basement for numerous years. After wiping off the initial layer of dust, there appears to be another thick coat adhered to the surface which won't come off by simply buffing the table with a rag. While it may seem too precautious, I am reluctant to use water or some type of cleaning solution as I fear it may do irreversible damage to the surface. Any help/comments on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
