My opponent is claiming that one of the serves I use, which he has difficulty returning, is illegal because it goes off the side of his (returner's) side of the table. All other aspects of the serve is legal (no obstructions, tossed up and hit from behind my end line & bounces on both sides). He insists that serves must clear the end of the table on the returners end. I checked ITTF & USATT.og and see nothing to support his claim. Does anyone have insight on this subject?
