I have read and heard that you need to get to the ball first and strike the ball. I went on a table tennis holiday in France and we were lucky to have as our trainer former world number 9 Mariano Lookov who now lives and coaches table tennis in france. He said that these days because the game is so fast top players go to the ball and strike the ball at the same time. Any comment? Roger |
