Hi,
I know the answer to this is probably "whatever you want", but, unlike shakehand style, where the rubber butts up to the blade handle, Penhold blade rubber is applied to the blade so there is a gap so the thumb and index finger can rest predominately on the wood.
Is there any specific gap that I should use.. I ask this as on another forum a guy said it has to be a 0.5inch gap (from bottom of rubber to the top of the handle)..
Any input anybody?
cheers
Jon
