How does one prevent rubbers from shrinking? I applied 3 coats of glue to the rubbers, with about 40 minutes wait between the 3 coats. I also applied 1 coat of glue on the blade. After about another 40 minutes of wait after the 3rd coat of glue to the rubbers, I put the rubbers to the blade. The rubbers were then cut to fit the blade. After about 3-5 days, the rubbers shrunk. The rubbers shrunk about 1/8 to 3/16 inch all the way around the blade. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening the next time I put on new rubbers?
