Hi Everybody!

Just purchased a Taksim (Butterfly) combo from here & itching to play w/ it this weekend. Started playing TT again after absence of 5+yrs (lack of advanced players, decent facilities, life, other hobbies, etc)

QUESTIONS:

1) Which is the leading company used most by top 50 pros? or most popular in the world?
2) How similar is Sriver G2 to Good Olde SRIVER?
3) Does MASTERbatin lead2 blindness? (just kiddin - 2C if ur payin attention :-P

OBSERVATIONS:

1) New RULES is suk very bad! WORST is the 2pt serve!! :-( Second is the 11 pts! Thirdly the 40mm BALL! not suk so bad is the requirement for "hand tossing the ball not obstructing the receiver" (i'ved used on certain occasions to feint severity of the underspin as part of the stroke)

2) SO MANY (new?) companies and OVERWHELMING numbers/types of rubbers :-0

3) fleeeeeeebay has some of the MOST ridiculous prices on earth for pro TT things when they are usually the 'lowest bidder' on almost EVERYTHING tech that can be purchased!?!? :-0

* its a real challenge to get back2 TT w/ nearly 30 pounds difference, eyeglasses, DEAD sriver and not having played for such a long time :-P

* last equip used when playing competitive TT was w/ Butterfly Carbon Chinese (only 1 existed around 1992?) and Sriver MAX (Kawasaki - harder top sheet known @the time)

* The price of Butterfly quipment cost a kings ransom compared2 prices i was familiar w/ thru a Butterfly rep overseas! LOL also compared 2 other brands today...
