Even though I've found that I have developed a feel for most all aspects of the game (FH&BH: Loop, push, chop, counter, lob, etc) I find that I am still losing games sometimes to players less experienced or skillful.

What are some ways I can develop a solid match strategy? What do the experts say? Drills? Practice matches? Am I just not thinking ahead enough?

My game tends to be an allround looping/spin attacking game. Let me know what you all think.
