Unbeatable control with attacking power! Instinct is specifically designed for the attacking player who is tired of blasting balls off the table. A special blend of soft and medium hardness wood gives this blade a medium high degree of flexibility while maintaining a steady short game.

I have two LKT Instincts and one Instinct+. I agree with the others that say these blades are good for learning on a budget but other than that they are a waste if you are serious or not going to use it for hard bat. The Instinct is slow and it does vibrate a little but I don't think it is that bad. I have one Instinct that I still use as a hard bat covered with Dr Evil. It works very well for hard bat. The blade is noticeably stiffer than my Toxic 5 hard bat. I have another Instinct covered with Pro XT and 755 0X. It is fun to play with but I move on. It is a good starter combination for learning how to play with LP 0X for little money but I haven't played with it for a while now. I now twiddle and the flare handle makes twiddling difficult. My Instinct+ is noticeably faster. I have it covered with Reflectoid on both sides.!
This is a good starter setup buit I think the slower Instinct is better. The Instinct+ works well but I should probably give it away to a beginner.
A good beginner's blade, for an excellent price. Forgiving, but feels a little dead.
After using this blade for a short while with Friendship 729 General rubbers, I've been able to draw some firm conclusions. This is an EXCELLENT beginner blade! It has loads of control and is absolutely a dream when it comes to pushing and even flipping. Essentially, it's fantastic for the short game and adequate for looping from close to the table for a newer player.
Naturally, because this isn't a particularly fast blade, it lacks a certain oomph away from the table. This shouldn't be considered a deterrent as it encourages players to use a full swing when looping which is certainly nothing short of a good habit. The only other pitfall I encountered was blocking, while it wasn't horrible, I do like a bit of ping so to be able to block without much effort. the Galaxy 896 was much better in this regard.
In respect to design, this is a simple, traditional blade with a slightly thinner-than-usual flared handle (which some have complained about) though I had no issue using it with my average sized hands. In regards to weight, this is a particularly light blade and so affords you a shade of extra maneuverability, further adding to it's short game prowess.
Overall, this blade has a good amount of feel, touch and control and I'd feel extremely comfortable recommending it to a beginner or someone looking to trade up from a premade racket. Bear in mind, even though I've stated this isn't a particularly fast blade, it's still faster than most cheaper premades from Butterfly, Donic etc. so don't go thinking it's too slow for your USATT 1100 rating
Cheep, but good blade for soft rubbers, must be ok for beginners. Light weight, mine is 75gr. With LKT XT - very good for learning. With rubber LKT Rapid Power it's a dangerous fast weapon.
There are vibrations despite a 6.9 mm thichness so ox lps are difficult to control for me. I switched the ox to a 1.5 sponge and it still vibrates too much for me. Usually sponge solves my vibration issue with other ALL blades.
Nice finish and quality but its not for me. No problems with handle.
It doesnt have the confident feeling of a hard blade when chop blocking at the table with ox.
I think its best suited for a developing looper or allround vet.
For me the DAWEI R2 is just better in every way as an ox lp blocking blade absorps the pace and is just fast enough to lift/push backspin easily and for safe hitting. If the speed is too slow you cant easily redirect the ball where you want it to go so you need to have strength to use the instict. ok no more new blades.
