the best control I ever found in a blade.....
This is my first custom paddle, using the new blade with some old rubbers I got from a friend, but it is exponentially better than any other paddle I've used previously.
Penhold version with old rubber (Stiga NEOS [red] and Friendship 729 [black]). Not sure what the exact part descriptions are other than that. Great spin and speed with good control (still getting used to it), and I suspect I will be much more consistent when I've had more time at the table with it. Take this with a grain of salt, as it is the first of what I hope to be many custom paddles. I am very pleased with it, especially at the price of $14 shipped through Ping Pong World (eBay), and a 7 day delivery time from China to Missouri, USA.
It is fast but with surprisingly good control. Even so, you need good technique and legs to make the most out of this great blade.
Compared with a defensive blade made of willow (e.g. Butterfly Defense II), it has poor control, but in the offensive class it is good. There are better blades at prices starting from 20 USD or so, like Palio PC6, which is composite and works a tad better with inverted rubbers. The finish of the blade exceeded my expectations. Good for blocks and smashes but not so great in the short game. It pairs really well with Focus Snipe 3 (1.8 mm sponge) and Dawei Inspirit (1.8 mm 42 degree sponge) on the FH side and TSP Curl PH OX on the BH. As a matter of fact, this is the first blade with which Curl PH worked well for me.
Wow!!! This blade is a looping monster, with precise control.

Fantasic blade for this price! It plays better than other more expensive blades! This blade very fast and has good control especially on the loops and blocks
