This review related to Feint Long 3 (1.3mm/black).
Great pips for spin variation.
Easy to chop and attack with this pips.
Sponge is very soft and slow.
High control in chops, blocks and attack shots.
This pips don't produce any reversal of spin nor effects on the ball, instead this is one of the best pips to generate your own spin which can be a very deceptive for your opponent.

One of the best long pip rubbers for long-distance chopping, and definitely the most controllable given the butter-soft sponge (an insane 26 degrees). With 1.1mm and 1.3mm sponges it is unsurprisingly dead, and requires a lot of wrist and shoulder action to get the maximum out of it. It is very controllable and consistent, so chop away and chop hard! Not good around the table (too dead), hits well with the 1.1mm and 1.3mm versions, not a disruptive pip by any means, and lasts a long time. It's also grippy, and can make more spin than any other pip on a dead ball, though the trade-off is that service returns become more difficult than other long pips. You should note, too, that whilst it creates a massive amount of spin on the first chop off a loop, it bottoms out quite quickly, unlike Spinlord Agenda or TSP Curl P1R where the spin just keeps getting heavier, so varying the spin with Feint Long III and varying even the stroke (I use the grip to do a sidespin roll that goes through the air with no spin and confuses even experienced opponents) is necessary against high-level players. The question as ever with Butterfly products is whether it is worth the money when there are cheaper alternatives, albeit less slow ones (TSP Curl 4 is the main one for this type of long pip, or Agenda or TSP Curl P1R once they are tamed)? The answer is yes but only if you play against high-quality loopers on a regular basis and learn how to use it effectively - varying stroke and spin, not putting yourself at a disadvantage by netting the ball or serving up sitters, etc. Ruwen Filus is an example of how to use this thing. Personally, I think it is a rubber for a beginner long pips player because it plays a bit like an inverted with the thicker sponge, and it can also be a great rubber to have on a spare bat if you are having a bad chopping day as it is ultra forgiving. Overall, though, Agenda and P1R are much more dangerous, and have livelier properties around the table.

Well...
This pips is really to play and hard to master. There is no reversal, and no deception at all but if you touch the ball it goes on the table with this unbelievable control. You cant miss a shot but almost none of your opponent will be disturbed by your spin. If you want to play it, you must place your shots perfectly on the line (cf : Ruwen Filus).
You can start to learn defense with it but once you are comfortable with defense just swap to curl p1r, an overall better pips. Play it really far from the table and be confident with your footwork to get every balls because it will always come back. At the table, you can use it less good version of short pips.

Obviously one of the best defensive rubbers in the market. Ideal for heavy chopping and controlled returns, only lacks the reversal and deception needed to baffle your opponent so it is meant for high level players
