Do not attach the speed glued rubber to the bat before the doming has reached its maximum, otherwise you wont get the full effect, and it wont attach itself so well to the blade. A lot of people find that only after the third application or so do they get maximum doming (the rubber may completely curl up on itself like a cone - but that depends on how think/soft your sponge/rubbers are). Straight after youve finished using the bat for the day, rip off the rubbers working from the handle upwards...this de-stresses the rubber and prolongs its life. |
