First of all there's not necessarily a "best" effect. The more you put on the more spin/speed effect you get. But there's also a trade-off in control. On a first application, you pour a half-dollar sized pool in the middle of the rubber and spread evenly. After that a quarter sized dollop will probably do. The rubber should dome up. Apply as thin as possible a layer to the blade...that's just for stick, not for effect. After it tack dries a little, maybe 5min, lay it on your blade and press it down. I just roll it on my leg. Some people use those rollers or clicky presses. Effect should last around 4hrs on average. If you have that long-lasting stuff that's a totally different routine. Takes like 6hours MIN for that to dry. |
