Time for me to come home, to my s1. Tried just about every rubber and blade you can imagine as a coach. So many combinations of different players bats. Finally my time searching again and again for that ( it rubber), you know the one you have read about and it will kill your opponent, don't believe all that rubbish anymore. All this equipment rubbish is not going to make you the super player you want to be. This is a beautiful well rounded and controlled rubber that i keep going back to. The lightness is the part that all you players out their will love,it allows you to hit through the ball with much better speed thus creating all the spin you will ever need, please listen here to coach and don't be fooled again by high end pricey rubbers, get over them rubbers guys and get yourselfs some S1

Nittaku Fastarc S1 is by far the best FH rubber that I have tried for Yinhe T11+ blade. Topspins and mid distance looping are great. Flat hits are powerful, services are good, short & spinny (except for Hurricane Neo3 which was great for service). The best part is I can open any ball with forehand including heavily underspin balls...

12/29/2017:Amazing rubber,I have it on Timo Boll ALC.Super speed and control.Spin is good too.Very good for serve recieves.I hav the black on BH side,on the FH I have tenergy 05.....I think I dont know how to use Tenergy 05...cos I feel fastarc S1=way better in all aspects.

I had trouble getting a rubber with hardness and medium speed, high twow that will replace my andro rasant in FH (this out of production) try with thibhar elp too fast, very direct, thibar els very fast and heavy, t05 fx very fast, without control, difficult blocking, probe fast arc s1 and I am impressed, everything is good, blocking, topspin, insensitive to spin, WOW, it will be my rubber for many years, I hope it does not stop producing.Update, seems delicate but it is quite the opposite, very resistant and durable, polyvalent rubber works well in FH and BH, quite fast, impresses the durability, insensitive to spin, medium angle.

Unlike it's big brother, Fastarc G1, the Fastarc S1 put a smile on my face the first day I used It. It is fast, has lots of grip, generates very good spin. As Vega Pro reminds me of a tamed T05, the Fastarc S1 reminds me of a tamed T64. One of the best performance/price ratio rubbers. I use It on bh RPB.

Out of curiosity, I wanted to pair my perfect Nittaku Violin blade with something of the same branch and decided to change from T05fx to Nittaku S-1 1.8mm both sides. So this is a direct comparison to 05fx. Some people were mentioning here that it is not fast enough - not true. Definitely faster than 05fx. Mates who were used to blocking my slower but spinny topspins found themselves struggling with faster pace. Rubber is feather light, definitely plus. The biggest downside for me is noticable reduction of spin. Aggresive topspins just a slight difference but opening loops absolutely lacked spin. The ball does not soak into the sponge, shoots away relatively quickly and if you are player relying on variation and putting all sorts of sidespin and topspin on your over-the-table balls, the rubber is not for you. Long pushes are fast and nasty, very difficult for opponents without perfect movement but it is almost impossible to push short and along with bad over the table game, I will be removing it from my backhand after a few weeks of playing. Blocks are easy, service receive not affected by opponents spin at all, rather forgiving rubber but in the end, not for me.

I love it ! Fast (not the fastest), easy to control and decently spinny. Used in FH Yasaka Goiabao 5, can return any serve consistently, not affected by spin at all. Hitting away from the table is consistent and powerful. Solid for Flat hit, can smack any ball right back

Fastarc S-1 is my go-to BH rubber. I'm not claiming that this is the best rubber for BH ever, I'm just saying it's the rubber most suitable to my playing style and skill level. The topsheet is soft, not tacky but grippy. The sponge feels medium soft. The rubber is dynamic and can generate a lot spin, combined with a medium high throw angle and plenty of control. These characteristics make this rubber super easy to play with. The best part is that this rubber is cheaper than most tensor rubbers. I would rate Fastarc S-1 as 9.5 out of 10, when considering it's good performance and great value.

I brought S1 1.8 black rubber with bat called Liu Shiwen play it. The S1 Fastarc black rubber very consistent on my forehand bat mention earlier on. It got great drive when hit on my forehand got a great serve all sort to trouble your opponent. Got all sort loops, great control, drive, Flat hit, smash and spin shot can put in when got good technique. It one best forehand rubber play so far definitely recommend I think better them most T energy rubber a part from T energy 64 similar to S1 just bit lighter then T 64. I going buy S1 red rubber since like it so much on black rubber hope red is good like black rubber.

unbelivable rubber, it is as the title veryfast spinny and has lovely arc for clearance, loopers must try rubber! excellent control. topsheet high content natrual rubber with high elastic feel, sponge is pourous but tiny ones. has got great catapult effect. pushing need good technics other than that all offensive shot is easily made. definitely not ideal for biginers. this rubber has high throw maybe same as or higher than tenergy. more shops should stock this in uk, i had to order from europe.

Excellent product from Nittaku, as usual. Quite Slow but spinny, control is superb. On 7ply wood blade, its super easy to lift backspin ball (used on backhand). But due to soft sponge, quick backhand rally suffers from slow, low-force ball (like balls from short-pips or Chinese Rubber), so it needs some time to change the technique.

In sum, fully satisfied, 9.5/10 for backhand rubber score.

I've bought 3 sheets and love these rubbers. I have 2 max (2.0 mm) in both red and black and a sheet of 1.8mm in black. This is my favorite FH looping rubber. It's very fast, light weight, good control and provides pretty good spin and best of all, it's easy to loop and great for smashing. It's medium hardness is suitable for almost any blade. The black is firmer than the red and slightly faster and the 1.8mm black is even more firm.

The only negative is lacking of feel if you are using carbon blades.

Here is my review: Speed=9.5, spin=9, grip=8.8, control=9, hardness= 3.5(red), 4(black), cut weight=42.5g/44(red/blk 2mm), durability=good; feel=vague, red was very curly when re-glueing(hard to stick), blk more flat, harder & faster, overall 9.4.

Blk 1.8mm=40.9g cut, slightly harder & slightly slower.

Fast but not too fast. Good spin. Currently using on backhand and it is easy to flick with this rubber.

This is a very good Off- rubber with soft sponge and probably one of the best from Nittaku. I used a few pieces and liked it much better than the more expensive G-1. However, it's performance is not for comparing with Bty. 05FX, Xiom Omega V or Donic JP03 type of new generation rubbers.

Just tried a Nittaku carbon flame blade with this rubber in 2.0 thickness on both sides. Good speed away from table and excellent smash near table. In 2.0 thickness 41.5 grams on 150 x 157 size blade. Prefer on forehand.

First time using Nittaku Fastarc S-1 and my first impression was, WOW! I love it for both my forehand and backhand...You can generate great spins as far as looping, chopping and on a serve with this rubber. Amazing control, even a beginner could use this rubber with a slightly thinner sponge. This is by far the best rubber I have ever used! :)

Best rubber for me. I prefer this over any of the Tenergy line. I think that for an overall rubber where you have it all. Spin, speed and control, this is the one. It is amazing. I just simply control everything well with this one.

This is my forehand rubber on STIGA CC5. The ball feel is great and fast and definitely need skill to control the ball to be low as the throw angle is quite high. It is almost as fast as bryce speed but definitely more spin than it.

Black use it with Gergely blade as forehand. This is a loopers dream rubber easy and effortless for underspin counter style. Not so good for flat driving but once you exert enough time to practice i think this is a well all around rubber by Nittaku.
Initial impression: its top surface is slightly tacky and a high quality natural rubber looking. Once you try rolling the tt balls to its rubber it reacted similar to the amount of force you put in. This is not the case to chinese rubber. A must try rubber to those who want top spin and spinner to another level..

this is my BH rubber. nice high throw making my BH loops easier to land. it is quite a fast rubber but still with plenty of spin. not all that great with the short game but more than capable with good technique. from the appearance it looks the same as my Rakza 7 including the sponge... i guess they are both made in Germany, same factory??

I have tried this with Bty Zhang Jike for my FH. Max
BH: Mark V HPS 2.0
Price is lesser compare to Tenergy.
Played it for two hrs. Characteristics of this rubber is a medium to hard sponge, speed is too fast similar to Bryce speed. Because of its medium tackiness spin is great specially on serves. If you want your game be put to another level. Gotta have this rubber!
