A beautiful and perfect blade, very fast, light in weight. Since it's a ZLC, it's a bit pricey than the $160 range ALCs such as Viscaria. I have Xiom Asia on the FH, I felt better off with DHS due to the hardness of Chinese rubber. Many soft tensor rubbers will get along with Amultart on the BH side.

Nice speed, fast spin and easy control.

If you are looking for a slightly faster inner force blade, consider this. The outer Hinoki is fairly thick and the blade has a better dwell time than Viscaria. Great in the short game and more than enough power when going aggressive. I have it paired with Dignics 09C both sides. My blade weighted 84G. Loving the blade, compared to my earlier blade Viscaria, this is faster and has better dwell time hence better spin.

This is the best table-tennis blade ever. I own this, Viscaria, Timo Boll Spirit, and Ma Lin YEO. Amultart is easily the best of all these. Clearly! Pair this blade with Tenergy 05 2.1 on both sides = best racket setup ever! This blade is much faster than Viscaria/TBS/YEO, much spinnier than Viscaria/TBS/YEO, with amazing control. When paired with Tenergy05, it actually has better control than all those blades. The low throw angle of this Amultart blade perfectly complements the high throw angle of the Tenergy05 rubber. The hardness/stiffness of this blade perfectly complements the Tenergy05 softness. It is a match made in heaven. For such an insanely fast and spinny blade (might be the fastest blade ever), the control is stunning. It is such a forgiving blade - I can be completely out of position, with bad posture, not use the optimal stroke - and yet still land the ball on the table. Incredible for serving, looping, smashing, and blocking. Extremely consistent, powerful, and explosive. I nicknamed this Amultart the "One Hitter Quitter" - one solid shot and the point is over. Opponents have an extremely hard time playing against this blade - often times the ball whizzes by them as they helplessly watch.

A few years ago, I got into the mindset of playing the safe game and control the ball more, so I went from my Primorac Carbon to Clipper Wood which was fun for a long while. Then moved to Xiom Feel zx2, because of the Hinoki layer to see how it affects the dwell time, touch and control, that was good too. However I needed to put more effort into my shots. Recently I played with Amultart and cannot lie, it felt so much better than any of the above mentioned blades. It is fast, quite hard, but very forgiving. Blocking is very easy, smashing is very easy, dwell time is less than Clipper wood or Feel zx2, but not bad in any way. I felt even my out of position loops with bad posture would land easier than the other blades.

Very good at controlling and blocking. For a blade, this is very good.

I like the speed, power and control of this blade. Works well with Chinese rubber. Updated: Dec 2023 I am using Donic Bluestar A1 in FH and BH and it is perfect!

I have used this racket for almost 6 years since 2012. In recent years, I have become obsessed with PP blades.

This paddle is fast and the control is better that innerforce.

Amultart is so FAST, when people say this is not for a beginner, that's true because i need to adapted to this blade after i changed my blade from Donic Carbospeed. This blade is still controllable compared to Carbospeed, the top spin is unbelievably FAST. Good feeling, good touch, and decent control. Mine is 81gr, i don't know why my blade is so light and i checked it on web should be around 86-88gr,so i need to put a FH heavy rubber like Rasanter R53 and Donic Bluegrip V1 for BH (general weight), is there any thought from you guys?

But i like this Amultart very much

9.3/10 for OFF style. FH/BH: Galaxy Moon, 2.2mm, 46g (0.227g/cm^2), 37 degrees (Shore A). Blade: Butterfly Amultart ZL Carbon, 90g, 157mm x 150mm x 7mm (Width x Height x Thickness). Plies: 5 (3 Wood + 2 Composite): Hinoki - ZLC - Kiri - ZLC - Hinoki.

The fastest ZLC blades. Good from Tener 05, but you need a high level of skill. Not for beginners for sure.

This blade breathes Fire!! It packs a punch that I've not found in any other butterfly blade. And I own all of them. It is light weight because of hinoki wood and 5 ply construct. This blade suits aggressive minded attacking beast. One solid shot and point is over. Use tensor rubber. Again nothing compares to this blades. It is quite unique. I own 2 of them and love it. Buy your own before butterfly stops its production, which will happen soon. Worth it's high price!! Again, there is nothing out there in the market that is even closer to this blade.

weight 86g ; T05 2.1 both sides. After testing many rubbers and thicknesses, I can say that the best rubber is T05 2.1. The ball does not fly, it is very precise, a good control in block, mid distance, closed to the table, and receive. It is really perfect on FH and BH. Speed is not crazily fast, but enough fast. Spin is really good. Throw angle of the blade is not so high, that is why it matches with T05 which has a bit high trow angle. The combinaison of this blade and T05 is a kind on compensation of throw angle, therefore the ball has arc trajectory and lands on the table. It is not bouncy. If you accelerate a lot, you create sharp top spins and precise placement. I guess the new victas ZL is trying to replicate the Hinoki/ZLC of Amultart ... which was used by Niwa Koki in 2012 I think.

Played for few games. Not heavy, very good loops and great control.Expensive.

Feels great on the easy balls. Hard shots require a quicker reaction on making the arc above the net. That being said, it’s not the one for me so I went back to the ALC.

I use Tenergy 05 FX for forehand and Tenergy 05 for backhand. It is amazing! It is fast but controllable. I can block very easy. I can create supper spin loops very easy for both swings. I play DHS Ma Long V ( 997 not commercial version) before. However, I love the Butterfly Amultart. It is my first choice for gaming.

It's my 2nd time to have a Amultart blade and I could say it's lovelier the 2nd time around. Now that my stroke is developed unlike the 1st time I had an Amultart blade, I could say that this is the best blade I've ever used. I have tried the following Butterfly blades: Gergely Classic old tag, Gergely 21, Garaydia ZLC, Innerforce ZLC, Photino, Jun Mizutani old and new blade, Adidas blades like Challenge Speed and Strike Wood 7 and lastly Xiom Hayabusa ZX blade. With all those blades, Amultart is the BEST, with Joola Rhyzm 48degrees for FH and Joola Rhyzm P 45degrees for BH it's a BEAST. The Speed, Control and Feel is Great! Not for beginner though. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely blade. Nice touch play, superb control near or far from table. Puts every ball into the table, very forgiving with large sweetspot. Feels great, premium quality and sounds sweet. Vibration for me is perfect, just a bit that I like. Its super fast too with amazing control. This is my most fav blade from all the rest of the very good blades that I have Btfly Marcos Freitas, Garaydia T5000, Yasaka Max Carbon 3D, Stiga Infinity V Diamond Touch, Sense 7.6, Arctic Wood, Andro Ligna Off+, Treiber Z all FL/Master/Legend grip. I'm also a Jpen player, apart from my Amultart my only fav Jpen is Yasaka Hasha Gold (1 ply Kiso Hinoki 10mm) after trying out countless others. Hinoki is amazing wood for TT which is the outer veneer used in the Amultart. I am aggresive type attack offense player so I like superfast blades with very good control.

Highly recommended for intermediate and pros that wants a stiff blade with outstanding feeling, dwell and control while maintaining HIGH SPEED. Excelent speed+control in rallies. The Hinoki wood which gives the feeling of balance and ball control * Accurate even short game on table * Amazing active backhand block with tenergy 64 *, M2 and P7, Very powerful forehand topspin with Raxza 9. Love this blade. Its a perfect combination for agressive and tactical play.

Exelent blade. I'm back to serious training after a long brake of 20 years. I never had the opportunity to played with expensives and well made rackets before but now there is so much available rackets in the market that makes easy what it seem almos impossible years ago. I spent time reading and reviewing the extensive new and amazing blades in the market and the Amultar got my attention. I had owned and practicing with it for two weeks and I'm amazed how easy and comfortable I feel returning the ball. Yes I agree with previous reviews this racket is super fast but controllable. If you have the basic knowledge of how to play table tennis the correct way. You will be extremely satisfied with it. Definitely I don't recommend this racket to beginners.

Replaced it with my BTF Primorac blade for more speedy looping and mashing. Definitely a fast/controllable blade for advanced players. This is my 3 rd day to play with it. I put the Adidas P7 on both BH/FH to give more control and best spin serving.... Love it ... The forehand and backhand loops are tremendously fast :) as well as mashing when needed !

This blade sure FAST , for me REALLY FAST. to better control i put soft rubber , i put donic blue fire M3 on FL , and stiga calibra Tour S in BH , I definitely love this blade !

surprisingly with this speed it has a decent control. I had tenergy 05 and tenergy 80 on FH and BH. No doubt this is for advanced players

A great blade. The same handsome Japanese manufactoring. Fantastic feeling, amazing on the block and smashing, hard looping. I'm tryng with Tnrgy 05 fh and 25 bh. Wow!

I am comparing this blade to the Kreanga Carbon, Yasaka Synergy, and several intro level paddles I've owned in the past. This is definitely my favorite. I have used it with bryce rubber, bryce fx, and cermet rubber in the past and it's been good but right now I'm using it with Sriver G3 FX on FH and Sriver FX on backhand. With this I'm able to hit very consistently with a bit better feel as compared to the Kreanga Carbon. It is also lighter than the KC but does not get the vibration issues that my Yasaka Synergy or cheaper paddles had. I am approx 1250-1300 rated and I hope to eventually have a solid loop with this. Right now my primarily block, counter-drive, and push based game is very easy to execute with this blade. If you're careful with your paddles then I'd highly recommend putting the money down on a nice paddle. I feel like I've gotten more value out of the rubber that I would have been purchasing anyways.

I'm a returning TT player. Played regularly 15yrs ago, now have been playing about 6 hrs /week for 3 months. When people say this blade only for advance player, i can safely say they dont know what they talking about or it's just too fast (can't control the blade). My game is mostly pushes, blocks, and plays spin game but occasionally counterloop or smash when opportunity arise. All I'm saying is this blade can do short game just good as other blades, not to mention gears for back table speed monster. I beat a friend who usually tough to beat. That really sums it up really.

This blade is sure FAST! I mean it, REALLY FAST. But it can be played down up to the "ALL" level. If you have the control in your own hands and doesn't rely on the control a blade offers, you'll definitely love this blade! You can go Wang Liqin with power packed top spins, or joo se hyuk with thriller chops, fine, you can manage with this blade!! Some says it "chooses" right rubbers to play it well, but NO, it is a variable blade. It can be played from all- - off+++. Put euro rubbers, and you'll get the hell of spin out of it. Put chinese rubbers, and you're ready to make the ball rush in 5th gear, provided you can control it. Got mine previously paired up with hurricane 3 neo nat'l blue sponge (FH) and a donic coppa JO platin (BH), and I dominated many well respected players in our club. Anw, presently I'm fond of using my H-WL with H3neoBS (fh) and BTY sapphira (bh), my amultart is currently teamed up with yasaka Xtend HS (BH) and JO platin (FH) (I'm thinking of switching to H3 or Globe national.) If you have the dimes, Go for it!

good blade for direct offensive play, with low dwell time. not for loopers depending on variations in their loops. All in all a good blade but difficult to control. also quality diminishes over a period of time.

My personal rate:
Speed: 9.6
Control: 8.5

This was my first blade, Fast, decent control, moderate dwell time, pair it with 2.0 or lower for better control

Magic touch with it and simply beautifull.Deadly loop, drive and chop very easy, smash is very speed spining.Tried with bryce rubber, then my game is going up,make me have a skill killer for my training partner. The blade is fantastic. Before,i'm used Kokutaku blutenkirsche and Butterfly Primo vittese, after using the amultart, then i using more the both of blade is very comfortable with good skill.Whatever, the amultart is super Fantastic..!! Thanks Butterfly..;-)

Very good blade... my favorite without a doubt... very good for both wings loops.. very fast, a lot of power and superb control.. i found the combination fh T64 and bh Omega II (european) the best, incredible easy to loop and block with both sides.. Definitely worth every single penny...

The ZLC with the wonderful outer soft wood laying help me much for upholding the ball at which I can feel fully and precisely control of my smashing and spinning line.

The components (core blade, ZLC and outer surface wood) contribute a perfect shock absorbing without any of vibration while maintaining a feeling of not so stiff. The bat itself is fast and good for blocking. It may less a bit all the hitting power while making up with high control is a worth deal.

The downside of this blade is easy to damage because it seems to me that its core is easy to rive and outer wood is flossy soft. However, I ultimately pick this blade and play it with a good care.

This is a great blade, but requires careful rubber selection. I started using it with Butterfly Tenergy 25 FH and Yasaka Razka 9 BH, but found the combination of T25 and this blade too hard to control on the FH. It's not as spinny as it is fast, and that takes getting used to. When I switched BH/FH, I found the R9 just right in terms of looping and control.

I'm used the amultart for two weeks, this blade is great in speed and spin at every my game, but for control i'm not good, because for 3 years i'm play the pingpong is otodidax, maybe i need a special training for controlable this blade, cause i haven't a trainer. On rubber i used Haifu whale 2 for my forehand and LKT torrent gold for backhand...

I've tried several blades but I was never satisfied the way this blade did. I never thought I would be purchasing a blade of this expense, but I'm telling you, It's worth every single penny. It has every playing fundamentals.. power, control, and speed, the ability to make the ball rampage with control in just a hit with even minimal efforts, excellent in countering loops. The ball will rush to your opponent before he could put his arm down!! it has the capacity making the spin in rage even in hard rubbers like hurricane series of DHS. it produces serious amount of spins.. so chopping as means of tactic defense is a good option. compatible with short or long stroke plays (long strokes may have to adjust a little though.). really a Top quality blade from butterfly.

One of the best blades that I have ever played with. It has speed when you want it and control when you demand it. It is great for mid to long distance play. My shots have gone from good to awesome. This is definitely a blade that needs the right rubber (soft) and some time when you first start playing with it. Give it about 4-8 weeks and you are going to be a nightmare for the opponents. Good luck!

I have been playing Amultart ZL Carbon since 2008. It is the best blade if compare with Mazunov OFF+ and Sardius. I am happy with this blade!

This blade is possibly the best thing out there. Looping with this thing is simply beautiful. Along with looping, close table play from smashing to flicking are outstanding.
Drives and power drives with the Amultart ZLC becomes an art with this blade.
The blade is very fast, but the feel is great. So playing with this blade requires skill.
But overall, this is possibly the best Butterfly blade in my opinion

I have been playing with the Amultart for about a month! I use Andro max rubbers and my game has gone high up through the roof! Excellent blade! I have ben playing for 25 yrs and this blade is in my top 3! Excellent blade!

Good blade. However, all out quick. Great in the offensive play if you are a well advanced player (USATT 2400 or higher). A nightmare when under pressure for players of almost every level excluding those who are at the table every day (reading: professionals. btw, even they prefer slower blades!). Don't buy it if you play not more than 10 hours a weak.
Nice looping characteristics, comparably good feel. Tremendous smashing capabilities. But way too fast for most of us!
Go buy a TBS, an ALC or a Mizutani if you're not among the very best! They are all fast, but way slower and will most likely enhance your game quite a bit more in almost all aspects!
Review helpful?    Yes | No

Its a blade with a gorgeous manufacturing quality. However, I find it very hard and stiff, with little dwell time in comparison with a Mizutani and a Photino. The throw is lower (with Tenergy 05) and the feeling for the ball is much much worse. This blade is not for the advanced nor for the intermediate player, its for very advanced players, which have a direct offensive style. If you use variable loops, sometimes direct, sometimes with a lot of spin and feel, choose a different blade. However, I assume it is the perfect blade for the type of players from which it is supposed to be used, meaning players with direct hard attack which do not need much feel for the ball.

amultart is definitely a very good blade, but it is very very pricey. i am not sure if you want to spent 150 dollars on a blade, but i you do, do not worry because you will not be disappointed! it has very good looping characteristics. the speed is not outrageous, but it is more than enough to do very good loops. the control is very good too though. this is one of my favorite blades for blocking because the ball seems to sink into the wood and carbon of this blade, a feelign i like. i found this blade is real good with bryce speed fx and tenergy 64, as over tenergy 05. it is worth trying

This blade is really amazing and worth every penny, you can create deadly loops with it from both wings.. Even though I use the penhold version but it is not that different. It is also heavy (e.g mine was 95g) which I really like!
Review helpful?    Yes | No

Butterfly Amultart ZL Carbon is an excellent blade for the two winged looper. Combined with excellent speed, control, and thickness, it allows for deadly loops, flips and controlled drives.

It is very similar to the Mizutani Jun, but it is relatively thicker, and weighs more. This allows for more acceleration of the head, allowing for more powerful shots. On the downside, you sacrifice the speed of your strokes and some control.

As usual, the Butterfly blade is top notch quality. It is a great blade for any offensively oriented player. The price is pretty high, but it's exelent blade.

Bought this frame in China during my internship,

First time i played like crap! Second time i played like i played like i did before, and now, i increased my level by multiple steps!

because of this frame i automaticly adjusted my backhand, i gained a lot of control (timing and stroke both better), and made me able to make powerful strokes with a lot of spin!

DEFINETLY WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

I considered this blade a well balance in terms of speed and control. The control of this blade is very excellent compare to my previous carbon blade that is too hot to control. Bryce/Bryce Speed a perfect combination to this blade imho. BTW, I found SOLCION is a good try as well. The comtemporary design of Amultart is very outstanding.

This is a fast but controllable blade. Due to the effect of the ZL Carbon, it gives a soft feeling and it grips the ball longer, but on the other hand, it has the fast speed as a normal Carbon blade. Butterfly pushs the speed and control balance to a new higher level.
