Reviews of Victas V>22 Double Extra (14)

Exceptional rubber in almosy every aspect. Serves topspins blocks are unreasonably good. The only weakness is nonlinearity at hard strokes the throw angel goes very high. The grip is fantastic so the spinning is comparable with chinees tacky rubbers. Good for close to table playing but shines at medium distance. The topspins are spiny and fast with short arm movement. Because of very high throw angle i use it on fh but also works well on bh and flicks. The best rubber i have tried yet

I bought the red and black rubbers in 2.0mm They were of good speed and spin. They lasted 4 months. One month ago I bought red and black rubbers in 2.1mm. After one month the rubbers still has the original speed and spin. The 2.0 has more control and gears than the 2.1mm

I played Fastarc G1 on FH on my Nittaku Barwell Fleet blade for a year and wanted something with same hardness but with a softer topsheet. I tried the V22 but I was surprised with its softness. It's softer than G1. I'd say it's around 45 while G1 is 47.5. For spin, I think V22 is slightly better (say +10%). It's also easier to lift backspin with V22 due to its soft topsheet. G1 is faster and more durable than V22 though. I ended up using the V22 for my backhand. I think it's a great fit. Sadly, I still didn't find a suitable replacement for my G1.

Using this blue monster on a single wood hinoki blade as forehand. Perfect balance between control and power, perfect spin, and perfect color~~

I bought this rubber 2.0 from Amazon Japan and im using it on Ma Lin Carbon FH, the edges got broken immediately and started to loose pieces after 5 to 6 days from gluing?! this is my only complain about this rubber...
the rest is perfect (spin, speed, control)
is there any advise to glue this rubber properly to avoid potential damages to the edges (FYI i used butterfly glue and now i got DHS glue which i wil use later on the back up rubber V22 MAX)
