I play with this blade since 1997 and i have tryed a lot of over blades. I started with Banda All, Applegren All, Persson powerplay then Yasaka Synergy. I tryed recently Extra 3D and Ma Lin Carbon, Boll ZLF and Mizutani ZLC, Primorac off, Boll off. The Yasaka Synergy works very well with tenergy fx, Evolution Fxs, and for top players (not me) Dignics 80. This wood is lightweith 79gr like Chila Off and precise like Mizutani. The vibration of 11 plies give you a wonderfull return of ball informations. It is similar like ZLF Boll but much better balanced. Butterfly wood have a gravity center too rear of the head. Be carrefull of you play with uper thickness than 2.0mm i hope you are better than 1700 rating. T64fx and 05fx 1.9mm give me a fantastic spin and a speed glue sensation, it's hard to find when you started to play with old balls and rapid clean. For 80 euros Yasaka give you a blade better than 200euro from butterfly. A must have.

I found out this Yasaka SYNERGY is not an 11-ply blade but it is a 5-ply Blade instead. I bought one of them and I was cheated.I am going to return it. Other customers you decide to buy it or not it is your choice.

Good quality. An elderly blade, but still sells, and is fun to play with. I use to see Ulf"Tickan" Carlsson play with it, when he coaches in Halmstad, Sweden!

It was certainly lightweight. I used this with Mark V and Donic JO Gold rubber and found that it didn't have quite the feel I was looking for but yet passed more ball vibration than the Kreanga Carbon and Amultart that I moved on to. I personally like a more "solid" feeling and I felt that this almost seemed hollow at times if that makes any sense. It's still a great upgrade in pretty much every way compared to the $25 stiga pre-made paddles I was using before but if I could do it again, I'd probably skip over this one and go straight to Amultart. I haven't played with a huge amount of others so there is probably a cheaper option somewhere that would have been just as good. On the flip side, I put a few dents into this paddle during its tenure so maybe it's best to cheap out until you're no longer hitting the table accidentally...
