I use a Stiga Clipper (non CC, nor WRB) along with a Donic Bluefire M1(FH) and a Donic Bluefire M3(BH). This blade shines in a Controlled game circunstances, it can pretty much do everything. The drawback is that since it does a bit of everything, this blade has no substancial strengths, such as 3rd ball attacking, flicking, etc. It's possible to improve your game by going with extreme performance rubbers, like T64 for speed rallies, T05 for spinnier 3rd balls, or Chinese style rubbers for attacking everything close to the table.

I have a Clipper Wood (Legend handle, non WRB). I rock 2x unboosted DHS Hurricane Neo (commercial orange sponge) 39 degree chinese hardness (Medium) which is super hard compared to European/Japanese rubbers. The blade itself is pretty heavy and suits these rubbers quite well. The blade has little vibration and it has quite large sweet spot. After using it for some time i would probably prefer a thinner handle - Master instead if the Legend one. Overall a very good offensive blade with a good weight to it. I need to try it with different, bouncier rubbers though. The lack or low vibration makes it suitable for more advanced players.

Classic 7 ply wood blade. Recently produced are better with weight low than 85 g. Universal blade working well with many different rubbers.

Changed from Ebenholz V, IMO I think it need very little adjustment to play effectively (looping game). The clipper is a bit more stiff but soft, yet it is still easy to loop. Smash and touch play are still excellent. (Edit Nov 2015) After using for more than 4 months, I still say the same that it is good blade to play for smasher and power loop drive player. However, I stopped using it and switched to 5 plys mainly on control issue on loop and touch play. Yet I still find that the blade is too thick and heavy for my preference and set up.

The Clipper is very good in most areas. The control feels super and I think the sound of the blade is very nice. The blade is very popular in China and works for both all round and offensive players I think. Really a good blade.
Truly a classic blade and one of my favorite blades in my collection. Good quality for a low priced blade. Clipper is powerful and fast with excellent feel and control. I think it works best for loopers and blockers who likes stadning close to the table. It has good spin due to the soft wood, and has good control because of the stiffness.

It's very slow in the shortgame. When I try to topspin or loop the ball, it's still slow compared to flexier blades.

For passive play the ball goes medium-low. In the beginning I had problems getting the balls to the other side of the net. But when I started to put in more power, the ball went over. Like the high throw from the rubbers starts to kick in when playing more offensive. Again this blade needs one to put in own strenght to get out the power.
I don't find clipper much better for smashing than BT555. But it's definitely much better for blocking.

Fast, hardness is medium. My blade weight is 83g. Fist time I try it, when I play tennis for 1 year. It's seems to me to much fast and very difficult to control. Only very slow (speed<=6) rubbers make it good for beginner. But now (2 year of play tennis) I like it, control seems good for me. I use it with shot pips (BH) and Stiga Mendo (FH).

Je jouais avec le ma long 3 il me manquait un peu de contrle donc j ai voulu essayer le clipper et j'ai trs bien fait car hormis le control bien plus prsent ,j ai augmenter la puissance et la vitesse car je retiens beaucoup moins mes coups car moins peut de sortir la balle de la table ..
Tibhar mk en 2 coup droit , nittaku c1 en revers ,, super compo et pas lourd ..
Pour pas vraiment cher ,, c est idal pour retrouver le plaisir de mettre la balle sur la table

Control is good, speed is alright. There are quality issues in the newer batch of STIGA clipper. It is a blade for offensive players that win point with placement and feeling.
I had this blade ten years ago after a Sardius and Korbel and really liked it. Much more control than Sardius with enough power and better looping. Same control as Korbel but more power in attacks. Perfect for blocking. This was all with old rubbers before the tensors arrive. I used seriver G2 and Bryce and was happy.
I tried it again now at its 40th anniversary and can say its still a great blade. ALC blades are now taking over in looping and far from table attacks without losing control in blocking.
So, if youre playing serious competitions go for ALC but if still not competent in basic techniques, use Cliper till youre enough confident. Its very easy to change to ALC after that.
Im going to try SP rubber on it for FH now as this the famous combination of Liu Giuliang.

90g. Soft feeling. If u feel pg7 is to hard then try this. Better for control. Price still on the middle side, not cheap. For built quality, stratus power wood is better,cheaper, and more wood feel. Overall it still a good blade that u should give a try to learn something.

Powerful, fast blade with excellent feel and control.Using boost Tx Max andshort pips Clippa on Stiga Clipper Classic aka wood.Perfect combination. Clipper Classic joining my two other Swedish wood c-pen blades:Hybrid Wood and Avalox BT 777.A quality and well priced blade.Still amazing a true classic indeed.

good all wood classic blade, best works well with medium soft to midium rubbers. i use nitaku fastarc both side, does everything well. excellent for looping. balance of weight is not as good as some modern blade, hence try to use light rubbers at least one side. overall still a good blade. fit well in my collection but i must say blade throw is a bit lower than other ones i have, thats testing with same rubbers.
With advent of the 40mm ball this blade is a solid OFF class not OFF+. This blade is a joy to hold and is best for close/mid attackers who vary drives with loops. Slight flex when looping but strongest with blocks and counter attacks. FL handle was rough so needed sanding. Overall balance was excellent with nice feeling thicker than average FL handle. A great blade from Stiga for mid level and advanced players. Changed to a thick feeling ST grip. Provides less hand fatigue during long playing sessions and facilitates BH transitions. Other manufacturers take note. Clipper ST is the model for what an ST grip should be. Used by top players around the world winning many titles. Classic perfection.
Nice feeling, impressive dwell time for an Off+ blade. A bit heavy and too thick. FL master handle is comfortable and best suitable for topspin strokes.
I learn my basic using Stiga Clipper and the side spins were awesome. I have own Andro Timber 7 Off/S and others like Avalox P 900.
I still love the Stiga the Legend (FL)handle is really nice. I tried with a hard FH rubber on Clipper Wood for 4 hours . I love it the Loops are faster and more linear and faster.
