Yasaka RIGAN is a newly developed table tennis rubber from Yasaka.
When the Rigan rubber was developed the goal was
to combine the advantages of "classical" rubbers and "modern technology" rubbers.
With Rigan you get a perfect ball control and a dynamic speed characteristics,
resulting in a rubber that is very easy to handle.
Rigan has a high durability and offers good value for the money.

Speed: 98
Spin: 99
Control: 66

Yasaka rubbers are steeped in history dating back all the way to 1926. The flagship rubber for Yasaka has been the Mark V. Mark V burst onto the table tennis world stage in the 1970 and 1971 World Championships taking home victory in both competitions. The Mark V is still going strong today and other versions of the rubber have been produced through the following decades.

More recently Yasaka has developed Rakza rubbers which have taken innovation to another level. The shape of the pimples provides a strong balance between spin and speed. Rakza rubbers use Hybrid Energy to provide synergy between top sheet and sponge providing great elasticity for power and control.

Yasaka has many more rubbers in their product line as well. Yasaka rubbers are used by top professionals as well as players of all levels. Be like 2019 World Championship Silver Medalist Matias Falck and choose Yasaka rubbers.

Tensored Mark V. Same control, more spin and everything is just 10-15% better and faster than the MK V HPS which is more expensive.

Like people said, it's a faster and spinnier mark v. Rigan is more bouncy and because of this I can touch the ball lightly and get good spin and the ball gets on the table. Really recommend for a second quality rubber.

Black, Max sponge. I use it for backhand. A little too springy sponge for my backhand. Not so long dwell time then. Not so forgiving when doing topspin. You have to hit the ball at the right time with the right stroke. Counter blocking works fine, and ordinary blocking as well. Backspin is good, and gives much more spin than looping does. I tried it on forehand for looping, and there isn't any real dangerous spin at all. Now I'm comparing this to Chinese DHS/Yinhe rubbers regarding the looping part.

Totally underrated rubbers, both of these. (I drive through in Max Thickness!) on a Yasaka Dynamix 17 layer, soo)

Great feeling. More speed than Mark V. Control is excellent. Block is effortless. Loop is the most noticeable plus point of this rubber...

I have tried over 100 different rubbers since I started playing 6 years ago. I always said if anyone would make a rubber slightly faster than mark v and with more spin , it would be the perfect rubber. Well. That rubber is Yasaka Rigan. The best rubber I have tried so far. It is amazing in control and touch. Spin is very good and speed is perfect to me on my Andro Treiber H blade. It is also the first rubber I will now use on both sides.

Very controlable rubber. Feels like Mark V with a Little more speed. Good step to take before ultrafast tensors. Using this om FH on a Liu Shiwen ZL and it was a pleasant surprice. Affordable so easily recommended.
