Each side of the Ice Cream AZX features two special composites: ZEPHYLIUM CARBON (ZLC) and ARYLATE CARBON (ALC), each with clear distinctive performance in one blade provides the players with variety of choices during game play.

The XIOM Ice Cream AZX has a koto outer ply, a limba inner plies, and a kiri core. Sandwiched between the koto and limba plies, the AZX has an outer carbon ply of ZLC on one side and an outer ply of ALC on the other side, enabling a different playing characteristics on each side. The ALC allows for a softer, stiffer, and springier feel while the ZLC allows for a harder and more elastic feel. These outer carbon plies, combined with the koto outer, enable a very direct and crisp contact with the ball great for aggressive play. A truly special blade that allows you to tailor it to your style of play.
