729 faster with Transcend Sponge
• superior speed and spin
Medium Transcend sponge 2.2mm(MAX)
Mild tackiness and a very aggressive oriented speed make this rubber an attackers dream, works great with or without glue.
Transcend is lighter and faster than traditional Chinese sponges. Sponge stores energy to release into the ball, while most sponges allow energy to dissipate.

Reviews of RITC 729 Faster with Transcend Sponge (18)
This is a nice rubber, its lighter than the higher tension, it produces good spin, has decent control, and has a bit better speed than the transcend higher tension.
It was my first rubber on a preassembled racket. Good rubber for players who are improving their techniques. good control, good spin, fast enough, high throw angle, more than average gears and durable. It works better on stiff blades.
Definitely a great FH rubber if U like chinese ones. It's a little bit heavy, sponge gives a hard feeling and rubber is tacky. You can put so much spin on service or top spin ! No tensor effect, but without speed glue or booster this rubber has sufficient speed for me. If you are really good and use tensors, perhaps you will need to boost this one. Control is great on short game. For me it is a 999T with more speed, very close to a H3 neo. (FYI I oil boost all my hard sponge chinese rubbers)
When I do a loop with using this rubber it is a bit inconsistent to get to the other side of the table. It definetly needs control.
It's pretty good when serving.
I put two sheets of this in 2.2mm thickness on a Stiga carbotech blade (from Stigas made up bat range).
Was very spinny, both sides held there tacky well, good control to.
Lacked in the speed department.
Good for a close to the table all spin game.
Not an Offensive rubber more all+.
To slow for me.
Rubber for children. Very low speed. Rotation - medium. For learning games for children. I bought, because the description was encouraging, someone probably did the eggs. Semi professional or amateur - you can not play with this rubber. I would say that it is more suitable for a defensive style. Next gum goes to the basket ...
blade yeo power 7 BH is battle 1 and FH is 2.2 mm red sheet of faster feighun
First the Cons of this rubber it comes in 2.2mm unsure why not 2.1 ,
Great things about it:its around 44 gm cut size for blade, added 3 layers of xtreme booster
Before boosted:was great. needs more force to kick in the sponge, great round the net play xtreme spinny serves excellent looping with great technique, easy to play with.
After Boosted: applied only 3 layers of xtreme booster instead of 5 as sponge hardness around 6 increased weight to 46 gm and sponge became more reactive and still maintained great close to net play, speed increased by 30% and spin by 30% sponge is great and still behaves great in rallies.Very durable.Xtreme booster has great effect on transcend sponge and also on orange sponge with battle 2.Chopping on top spins is so easy with this to upset rhythm of opponents and too much back spin on chops. This rubber will be my back up rubber on FH.Initially i had bought this for bh but it comes in 2.2 mm only and its heavy for bh.From my experience BH rubber weight should be around 40 to 44 gm.If this rubber had come in at 2.1mm i would have used it as bh.
I agree with asga this is better than battle 2 in being very responsive and slightly faster in rallies, its more lethal too, great with polyballs, better than battle 2 far away from the table. It is on my test paddle now will test it more.
The fastest 729 rubber of all! Surprisingly light despite its hard light green 2.2 sponge (red rubber). I will compare Faster with Battle 2. Battle 2 is suberb of course and tackier, but Faster is "kind of lethal" and slightly faster, lighter and also tacky/spinny enough. The evaluation has to focus on the adaption to ABS balls and win ratio.
Awesome and superb rubber! Cheap and value for your money... Love this rubber so much, devastating both for my FH and BH... From my points of view, definitely an attacking rubber and not suitable for beginner and most important do not feel hesitate whenever you wanna attack or do your killer hit, my favorites lethal weapon!
that's why this rubber named faster.
but I don't like spin produce by this rubber.
this a cheap and really fast rubber
I'm using it in my forehand
honestly it's a lack of spin
it's good for offensive player
Very tacky, cheap and durable!!The green Sponge also very nice!!!Slow loop is a monster!!
is the best rubber , because is very very fast and very spinny , is a best election for offensive players looking for maximum speed and spin
Very heavy tacky rubber, great speed, but poor control of 2.2mm. 2.0mm is a much better selection of good control 8 with a little less speed , spin is fine but not like Higher Transcend sponge.
Very offensively rubber .
Very good for BH and FH. I always used for forehand. So fast and quick to stack. The sound good. Good for service too, very spin in service.Value for price.
So far I've tried DHS Hurricane 3 provincial and national versions (both blue and orange sponges), NEO Hurricane 3 commercial, Skyline TG 2 & 3 etc. The Friendship 729 'Faster' rubber is not too far away in characteristics of the above mentioned rubbers, maybe slightly less power, slightly less spin but just a by a small difference. I highly recommend you try this rubber for FH or even BH, works perfect for me. I use these on both sides on a RITC Friendship V-5 blade and so far I am please with what I am getting out of this setup at the moment. Make sure you have a sponge and rubber cleaner around as you need to keep it constantly clean just like any other chinese rubber.
