a booster which has a very profound and direct effect on the sponge, sponge hardness and speed of the rubber. several tests done on different types of rubbers were done and these are the results:
1 layer = for chinese rubbers, it has some speed increase but no noticeable softening of the sponge hardness. Slight or almost no doming of the rubber observed. About a notch or 2 increase in speed. Euro or Jpn rubbers that are soft or medium soft have visible doming observed;
2 layers = visible doming effect on both chinese , euro and jpn rubbers. Speed increase is obvious bet. 1 and 2 layers. I don't recommend more than 2 layers for non chinese rubbers. Only 1 layer is enough for the soft rubbers.;
3 layers = maximum effect with almost a letter "U" doming shape. Doming will flatten in a span of 4-5 days. The booster is best use for chinese rubbers like Hurricane 3 or Skyline 2 and 3.
- Compared to X-treme Power Booster, the Falco Long booster has a thicker liquid property. It also has a greater speed glue effect on the sponge. In a sense, the Falco Long has an aggressive effect on the sponge while the X-treme Power Booster, has a milder effect. The Falco seems to have a longer effect than the X-treme Power Booster, in terms of longevity of the speed glue effect by 1-2 weeks. The X-treme Power Booster on the other hand can keep the rubbers life longer because it has a milder effect.

Unlike regular boosters it provides very consistent long-term performance. Falco Tempo Booster is an alternative to speed glue. It is VOC-free and compliant with ITTF regulations. Boosters are not glues so water-based glue is still required to attach the rubber to the blade after boosting. Boosters improve the speed and spin of the rubber sheet while giving you a better feel of the ball. How to apply Falco Long Booster: 1. Remove any plastic cover or protection sheet from the rubber's topsheet. This will reduce strain on the topsheet as the rubber sheet expands with the booster. Megaspin.net consulted ITTF about whether using this product complies with ITTF regulations. We were told you cannot boost a sponge without an influence on the top sheet and we were referred to the law below:

2. Apply a layer of Falco Tempo Booster on the sponge. After a few hours the rubber sheet will "dome" due to the expanding sponge.
3. After about 24 hours, repeat (2) for 2nd layer of booster to obtain a greater speed glue effect. Chinese rubbers may require a 3rd layer for optimal effect.
4. Allow the rubber to become flat again and the booster to dry. This may require an additional 24-48 hr.
5. Glue the rubber to the blade using any water-based glue.
6. The effect should last around 8-12 weeks. As the effect wears off, remove the rubber from the blade and remove the layer of glue from the rubber.
7. Leave the rubber unglued for 24 hrs to shrink back slightly.
8. Repeat the steps above to reboost your rubber.
ITTF advice on use of this product2.04.07 The racket covering shall be used without any physical, chemical or other treatment.
Falco's statement regarding ITTF regulation compliance of their boostersAs stated by the ITTF, a racket covering should be used as it has been approved. The ITTF does not approve a racket covering, but rather the  Top-sheet  (the black or red rubber). Then manufacturers may choose a type of sponge that could hard or soft, thin or thick, boosted or not! Moreover, any player may change the sponge and use the sponge of his choice (this is very common in Asia). So Falco boosting is 100% legitimate: this technique does not touch the approved rubber since it only  boosts  the sponge previously unglued.

Adds speed. Lasts at least a month. A great product for some sponges. You can (legally) tune a sponge, then attach a sheet of topsheet and make a rubber that matches a 50 high tensor. Works great for both SP and some styles of LP. Alternately, some preassembled Chinese rubbers will take a good tune. Watch out for multiple layers though, it's easy to overtune a sheet (and make it too fast, with not enough spin to control it). At that point, the rubber is dumpstered.

This works very well for H3 at 2-3 layers. Rubber improves in every way (sounds irrational, but this is my feel after testing several H3 rubbers).
I've noticed that the manufacturer application differs from the video ..does this matter at all , the video says to put a layer of glue and let dry before doing the booster steps, the other say to do booster steps then gluing steps ?
It lasts about 2 months with 7 hrs of play per week. “Wakes” up the Chinese DHS sponges which then makes the rubber playable, at a more normal effort level.
