I have been playing TT for 4 years and along the way purchased several blades - including Butterfly Photino and Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro.
This blade makes a hollow sound when the ball hits the rubbers.

I have the same setup for both this blade and Butterfly Photino (Forehand: Donic Bluefire M1, Backhand: Donic Bluefire M3). After playing a few sessions with this blade, here is my verdict.

I'd say this blade is only 65% to 75% as fast as Butterfly Photino.
Despite being a very fast blade, Butterfly Photino has more control. I often chop with Bluefire M3 and the control is fantastic, and close-to-the-table soft-blocking has never been easier. I was not able to do it with this blade. Maybe I need time to get used to it.

A few things I like about this blade:
1) If you loop the ball correctly, it will generate huge amount of spin and a decent speed.
2) The handle is very smooth and comfortable.
3) It seems to be lighter than 90g.

I do not regret getting this blade. I am going to play with this blade more and try to update my review in a few months.

Donic has outdone themselves with this blade. The quality is superb. Plays light for a 90gr. blade. Stiff with great feedback. Flared handle is as good as it gets. Great choice for hitters and mid-distant power loopers. Speed is between fast and very fast. Simply the finest blade I have ever purchased. Superb with 1Q, or S1 on FH side for great blocking, chopping mid distance or high speed drive close to table. Step back and looping is a breeze. Great for combi players with inverted/pips due to the high blade thickness and carbon fleece construction. Want to increase the speed of your game with good control? ...this blade will make you a happy player.
