A good control rubber. Feel medium soft, fast with lower throw. Not so spinny. Focus on direct fast stroke attack Fh and flick Bh. High price tag, not durable. But there are no rubber will be same like this.

T64 is for specific user that like soft rubber with speed and easy to control. Softer than t05 and t05fx. Less tacky than t05, feel soft and slow on slow stroke but faster than t05 on high gear (hard stroke). I will group t64 to soft rubber sponge like xiom vega euro, acuda s3, rasanter r37, rakza7soft, not same to them just best rubber for control.

Coming from a T05 on FH, and I can say that T64 is a little bit faster, has a little bit more control, but has also a little bit less spin. About the hardness, I felt the same. Overall is a superb rubber, I tried it both on BH and FH, and it works well on both.

This rubber, is a rubber that is meant for at least intermediate players. I use Tenergy 64 on my forehand and Tenergy 05 on my backhand, and if you want more spin, go with the Tenergy 05, but more speed is definitely the Tenergy 64. Also, in the very beginning, the rubber has an uncomfortable uncontrollable feel to it, but as you play more, the potential of the rubber will show and your play will become much better and faster.

Really fast, but rather difficult to control if you are still developing your strokes. The sound is awesome; I would say slightly louder than the 05.

Speed: very high (9.9).
Spin: low (8.6).
Control: average (8.9).
Tackiness: slightly tacky (2).
Weight: medium heavy (47g, 0.232g/cm^2).
Sponge hardness: medium (49/36).
Top sheet hardness: hard (56/44).
Gears: average (5).
Throw: medium high (5.5).
Consistency: always identical (9).
Durability: average durability (5).
Top sheet thickness: average (1.7mm).
Surface thickness: average (0.7mm).
Pip length: long (1mm).
Pip width: average (1.7mm).
Pip spacing: very sparse (1mm).
Overall: average (9.2).
Value: expensive (3).

The throw angle of 64 is lower than 05 and 80 due to sparsely placed pips, which makes 64 less effective in looping. 64 has longer pips for extra speed useful in smashing. Bryce High Speed is faster, but it has less spin.

Very good backhand rubber. I think it shines in fast drive/counters from close or mid distance. Also very good blocking. It has low, linear trajectory. It is also very spinny, but throw angle is lower than other tensors I think. Spin and loop are also very good - you can really feel the ball dig in the sponge. It's pretty fast - I think you can play very comfortably in mid distance.

Edit: I got 2.1mm sponge

Very spinny and fast yet feels softer than T05. Does not react to incoming spin as much as 05 does. Effortless loops from mid-distance. Not for beginners as it requires good touch and lots of practice.

Reference rubber. Feels softer, slower and more control than 05 as there is larger distance between pips. Same rubber and same sponge as 05. As all Tenergies the rubber last quite long but falls apart in edges quite easily.

I recently switched from H3 Neo to a non-tacky FH rubber (I play modern defense) and tried both T05 and T64 as my FH rubbers in 2.1. Here are my observations:

Speed: T64>T05. Slightly faster, has a more noticeable speed-glue effect.

Spin: T05=T64. Very close. Same grippy topsheet, same sponge, but different size and spacing of pips. As a defender I wanted the spiniest rubber possible and on paper T05 has a higher spin potential but IMO they are pretty much identical. If you want to see T64's spin potential, just look at Mizutani or CCY's videos and the ridiculous spin they generate with it.

Control: T64>T05. T05 is more sensitive to the incoming spin so IMO serve receives are more challenging.

Throw: T05>T64. Due to T64's stronger catapult, the throw appears to be lower and the rubber feels bouncier (i.e. watch out as the first dozen or so strokes won't even land on the table). Chopping (for me) is a lot easier with T64, again due to its throw, although I don't chop a lot with FH.

Feeling: T64>T05 as it feels softer and is more forgiving. T05 feels like a boosted H3 Neo that's been played for a while, i.e. lost its tack but stayed grippy.

Looping: T64=T05. No issue with either although being less sensitive to spin plays in T64's favor. Either one easily lifts backspin and plays close to the table. Understandably T64 has more power and spin away from the table. The ball heavily dips right after the bounce and the opponent would often miss it entirely. I can also loop from under the table, ie. Xu Xin style. T05 is VERY capable as well but it requires loops that are hit "just right".

Blocking: T64=T05, although some would argue that T64 has an advantage.

Serves: T05>T64. This is where T05 shines due to 64 being bouncy. I can still do very spiny serves w/ T64 though.

Overall T64 is my go-to FH rubber but you cannot go wrong with either one.

BEST BH RUBBER EVER! I've been looking for a rubber that is not reacted to spin and has huge amount of speed so that it is easier to flick every service, I've tried so many rubbers before I decided go to Tenergy series and I'm telling you, the Tenergy 64 is the best BH rubber that I've used. It has lots of control and lightning speed when you get the proper stroke of using it. At first I thought it was slower that tenergy 05 but when I tried to hit the ball deep in the sponge, oh man I'm telling you it was VERY FAST! Take your time to get used to it then you will tell me that you're not change your BH rubber anymore!

T64 rubber is softest in Tenergy series, give you easy to control the ball.
Throw Angle definitely low. spinness still very high compare other series. this rubber best for elastic blade. with stiff blade you will loosen touch feel by its softness.

I'm not worthy! I have been able to use this rubber on my FH for the past 8 months or so and even when I need to replace my rubbers I will buy this over and over again. Can use a variety of shots; power/under/topspin with control. Also is forgiving if not on the sweet spot, but try to hit it on point for best results ;)

If you want to dominate with full forehand attack, tenergy 64 is the boss! Super fast topspins to slow spinny topspins, you can do everything with this rubber. Chop serves are so good that most opponents struggle to lift the ball over the net. And if they do, forehand topspin is ready to finish off the point. I also manage drop serves extremely near the net very easily. Use it with the awesome xiom hayabusa zxi blade

Tenergy 64 with a little patient at first can be your beast gun with fearsome control, it is good and consistant. Its the best after the 05 and most certainly faster than it. When I first got the Tenergy 64, I wasn't very impressed with it. It replaced my previous Acuda S1 and the T64 seemed so much slower. However, as the weeks went buy, I gradually warmed up to this rubber, and now am quite happy with it. It is much spinnier than Acuda S1 IMO, and has a higher throw angle, easier for opening up. However, Acuda S1 wins in speed, and control is about the same. Quite a good, spinny rubber. Fairly good durability, hasn't lost it's shine even after 50+ hours of training. Overall, good rubber, works well on both FH and BH.
Okay speed, good spin, good control. Nothing wrong with this rubber.

Extremely fast, but the minimal spin and softness of the sponge makes it extremely easy to control topspin loops. Attacks close to the table and away from the table are also fairly easy. The reason I wouldn't recommend this rubber is that (for FH) it is somewhat sensitive to spin and has a spring sponge. thus, it is hard to have a strong short game. Also, this rubber is not strong for chopping. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK! I recommend T80 if you're looking for short game without losing anything.

T64 is perfect for blocking and counterattacking and makes a fantastic FH and BH rubber as long as it fits your playing style!

Currently using on my backhand, T64 didn't quite make it to my forehand not fast enaugh and doesn't generate as much spin as I would like. T64 similar in many ways with Hexer+, but has higher throw angle (which is good for openning loops) and better dutability.

i am 14 years old with a very weird style i am a shakehand player who uses forehand pimples with TENERGY 64 on the backhand which i find quite easy to control on the backhand but on the forehand it is quite difficult to control the ball because if you are to hit the ball in a weird way then the ball will go off the table however this can be avoided most of the time by putting more topspin on the ball to make it dip down if you do that then it is a fantastic rubber

I tried this rubber 2 years ago on Timoboll ALC, Timoboll ALC has a catapult effect blade, pairing with T64 it become to springy. I've just use this rubber for the last 1,5 months, got the new batch, it's harder than my old one, more solid, better feel. Now I use it on Viscaria as backhand rubber. This rubber really block well, not too sensitive against incoming spin compared to T05. It's not as easy to spin as T05 but it's still very spinny compare to Tensor rubbers. Before I rate this rubber crap and not worth it. Now I really enjoy using this rubber, it's unreplaceable now :)

It says in the catalogue for mid to long. this is true but also near the table. use it on my Zhang Jike blade its working well with my back hand and i switched it to my forehand. Perfect for looping and push block. Mine is 5 months old but still in its original form when i bought it. Perfect for counter hitting and serving because of its spin. I just bought another 64 this time its thinner a 1.7 mm sponge thickness.

Using Tenergy 64 in 1.7mm on Grubba ALL+ flexible wooden blade. Much better for match play than 2.1mm and still plenty fast enough. In 1.7mm Tenergy 64 can do everything from chop to loop to wristy TSP to counterhit. Most players are chosing 2.1mm and 1.9mm thinking that the 1.7mm will be too slow, but on the Grubba All+ this is not the case!! In fact for the first few sessions it is ultra fast and then settles down to be fast but controlable. My best combo ever for FH and and can twiddle to use on my BH to give different effect to my T05 1.7mm BH rubber.

Using 2.1mm thickness on both sides of an Andro Carbo-Aramid blade. It's a good rubber, but definitely not worth 80 dollars. Palio Blit'z does everything T64 does but with better control and costs half as much. I don't see why people rave so much about this rubber...

Tenergy 64. The perfect BH rubber. But I prefer it on the forehand. If you engage with the sponge more, it's better for looping the T05 and much better speed. Designed for mid-distance play, and for people who prefer softer rubbers. I recommend T64 on the FH and Bryce Speed FX for the BH.

Good backhand rubber. Bouncy. Good for those who used to use speedglued bryce on the backhand. Great at blocking. I prefer T05 for opening loops on the backhand. Basically, if the blade is on the slower side I would definitly opt for t64 on the backhand on the backhand because t05 would not be bouncy enough for me and vice versa in the opposite situation.

Honestly the best backhand rubber I've ever played with. The ball trajectory is fairly low thus it is great for blocking, smashing, and countering. However, the spin is superb particularly for backhand looping both of the bounce and away from the table. Surprisingly, pushing is better with the 64 than the 05 and it generates very good spin. This is an excellent rubber on composite blades with a medium feel like Michael Maze.

I personally much prefer this rubber to 05 simply because my of my style of play. It is a much softer rubber and my style is to be aggressive off the 3rd ball and then to use soft touch shots to bring the opponent in and then attack again. 05 is okay for this but it often pops the ball up slightly too high and doesn't give me the same soft feel that 64 does to allow me to simply drop the ball over the net even when the opponent loops high and fast.

The great thing about this rubber is that after I have brought the opponent in it is still easily fast enough to blast it past them. I am a faithful subscriber to this rubber over the 05 variety. It feels like sriver on steroids.

I'm rated about 1600 and I am mostly an offensive player. This rubber was completely differnt from other rubbers I have tried. Most rubbers I've tried feel only slightly different from one another. This rubber was a complete change, taking me about 2-3 weeks of practice to feel at home with it (very fast with good control). However, after working with it it has improve my overall game and it would take alot to try and make me swicth to any other rubber. Great for serving, blocking, looping close and off the table and my smash is awesome now. Not so good for off table chopping.

I used this rubber on my backhand b4 tenergy 05. This rubber is very controlled and has a lot of spin to it. However, i feel that it is not as fast as tenergy 05 and as great offensively as 05. Im a big looper both ways and therefore i need a rubber that is better for looping. That is why i changed from 64-05. However, this rubber is very good for players that are planning to play more defensively on their backhand and letting their FH win points. It is very good for heavy chops and the feeling on blocks is absolutely fantastic. Recommended for any well rounded, defensive players

Ok my playing style is modern defensive.I've been playing for about a year.

I originally tried this in 1.9 on a Butterfly Defence II
Simply put it was too fast for me. I just could not control it.
Forehand chops would launch long.
Forehand loops would be long.
Pushes would be long or too high.

3 months later I returned to tenergy 64.

I've now got it in 1.7 on a Matsusheta Pro and its perfect.
Speed and Spin are excellent.
Forehand chops are pretty good.
Mid distance looping is soo easy. Even with a defensive blade.
The spin on serves is excellent.
Blocking is a breeze.
I still launch a few shots long on occasion but I just need more time to get used to the rubber.

I feel like this rubber can do everything.

Definately worth the money.

It has a nice feel to it. Great speed, spin and control for such a fast rubber.I prefer Tenergy 05 but if you want more dwelltime and a little bit more controlable game, choose this one instead. I like it on a Stiga Clipper or Donic Lagonda blade.

Very good Tenergy rubber indeed, again we facing a soft surface that required skillful hands to cut it off, there is too many useful reviews about this rubber, so I will pass this one on.

very powerful weapon if you understand how to use it.
at first I have a trouble in looping, especially when my opponent gives me a short service.when I lift it a bit,the ball fly away from table!!:(
but when I play driving, the ball always return to my opponent table and it drives very fast!block are also fast with punching move.
I tend to break a ball easily with this rubber as I keep hitting the ball like a mad man LOL.all at all very powerful and very fast rubber.

I used to play BryceFX as my forehand rubber, But I tried to switch to T64! at first, I was shocked by the power and speed of this rubber! I had fun using it but its very dirrerent from ma bryce rubber because I used to speedglue my bryce because it performs much better. But the first time that I used the T64, I became so afraid to use a speedglue again for this rubber because its very fast combining it with my Gergely Blade. I'm afraid if I used speedglue for this rubber I couldn't control it already. But if you would ask me about the consistency and the throw of this rubber, I'm so excited to say that it's almost perfect! Even me, couldn't believe myself spinning a drive even its from below! Simply the best and worth-it rubber in my life!

i hate it when the rubber becomes slippery because of the poor venting. my opponent probable thinks i'm having a bad day and missing my shots. i'm glade some body knows what i'm talking about. yes, even the t64 can become slippery in bad room vents.

I use it on a lot of blades (JM ZLC, Timo Boll ALC, Maze ALC, and Hinoki Senkoh 90) I like the Hinoki feel best with this rubber.

Excellent rubber. I used Tenergy 05 on my backhand, but the Throw Angle was to high for me, so I choose Bryce Speed FX. The rubber wasn't able to do high arc loops. So I decide to take the Tenergy 64. Slightly faster than 05, same control, slightly softer feel but lower Throw Angle. Now my loops are the best, on second distance play I have fully control of my rubber and blade. Short-game it's amazing too, if you think Tenergy 05 Throw Angle is to high, go for Tenergy 64, it helps a lot for getting a better backhand loop.

This has to be Butterfly's best rubber to date. It's not quite speed glue effect but as near as damn it.
I use it on a Maze Off blade, so pretty quick and I use it both sides in max. I love it. It does just about everything really well - service, on the table or mid distance game with heavy spin and lots of speed due to the spring sponge. This can make net play a little tricky but with soft hands and a good touch and you soon get used to it.
On the down side there are 2 issues.
(i) If you play in humid or poorly ventilated facilities the rubber seems to 'sweat' and the ball just drops off the bat when you try to loop with it. Having said that I just flat hit and block with it and again the rubber performs this superbly well.
(ii) Because I tend to do heavily chopped service return close to the table I sometimes catch the rubber on the table surface. This has lead to the rubber perishing rather quickly for my stile of game. The middle of my bat has remained consistant for over 2 months now so wear and tear for this rubber is great. At a cost of £40 + it initially sound a lot but the rubber does last much longer. I play about 8-10 hours per week.

For me, it is the perfect forehand rubber. The throw is high, making it easy to lift chop balls. Nevertheless, it is very easy to block (here the throw is medium) and it is great to counterloop. The speed and especially the catapult are outstanding! Serving and returning is great, but here it is slightly beaten by the 05.

tenergy 64 is a little feel like tenergy 05, but after you play with it for a long time there are some fundamental differences. overall, tenergy 64 is more of a control rubber than tenergy 05. the speed feel is a little different. tenergy 05 speed is very powerful feeling, while tenergy 64 is very quick and swift feel. it seems to stay in teh sponge of tenergy 64 a little more. there is more spin on 64 as well. the sponge holds the ball in longer. the control is good. it is easier to block with 64 and keep the balls on the table. it is very suitable with any blade and playing style.

Tenergy 64 is, in my oppinion, one of the best rubbers that has been produced as "replacement" for speed glue. The feel and sound is almost as good as a freshly glued rubber. The sponge is pretty hard, but it feels softer due to a very flexible topsheet. Tenergy 64 is a rubber for looping. It's not the best for smashing and blocking, but it's amazing for looping! You can produce heaps of spin if you want it, or you can go for speed and close the angle a bit more. The only downside with this rubber, for me, is the short game. It's a bit to bouncy, and I don't feel like I have full control. But you can get used to it, and after some hours of practice it was almost as good as it was with 05. If you tend to take a few steps back from the table and loop with spin, Tenergy 64 is probably the rubber for you. If you tend to stay close, I would rather choose Tenergy 05 for spinny loops, or Boost TP for re-looping.

Well i finnaly played with the buterfly tenergy 64 rubber and i must say it is faster then the 05 and it is a very good rubber for mid distance players indeed. It is a softer sponge then the 05 but stil not really really soft.
If you play close to the table it is very easy to block with but because of the speed it is less easy to hit with,Opening and looping is good near the table but make sure you go for the ball, i found that near the table you can generate more spin with the 05 and further away with the 64 but still it was a lot more spin with the 64 near the table then with other rubbers, controll was ok to very good.
I think butterfly is right, it depends on your style in wich you have to choose.
the 64 is for furter away our if you have small strokes for looping at the table. and the 05 is made pure for at the table because it gives you some more time to react.ofcourse if you are a very fast player who can handle the speed with good technique the 64 is playable near the table to .

Behaves in a very similar manner to Tenergy 05, but with a slightly softer feel all-round. Sponge is the same as T05, so the difference comes from the pip configuration in the topsheet.

So, much the same as T05, heavy, expensive. Topsheet looks a bit more fragile, but it's been fine for me so far. Still a spin and loop monster, with quick pace and high throw.

A truly gorgeous rubber! It is in my opinion the best rubber for the modern topsin player, together with the Tenergy 05. They are very similar indeed, however, the 64 has a softer feel and an increased dwell time. On the right blade, e.g. mizutani jun, kreanga carbon, it gives you a unique playing sensation and possesses a tremendous catapult effect. It is easier to block or to counterloop with the 64 than with the 05, because it seems less sensitive to incoming spin. Nevertheless, it can generate the same incredible amount of spin like the 05. I have the impression, that the 64 is more forgiving than the 05, which makes it suitable for less skilled players, though it is by no means a rubber for beginners, because the more skills you have, the more you can get out of it. If you play a harder blade and are a topspin player, you should definitely give it a try!

Anyways, tenergy 64 is very similar to tenergy 05, the main differecnce is that the 64 is softer, with more spin. It also has better control, with a lower throw angle.

So yesterday, during my routine training, i tried some tenergy 64 given to me by a friend, and i put tenergy 64 on one side on my mizutani and tenergy 05. I played with both sides changing every few shots. I found that 64 was not as good as 05 for the forehand, since it lacks the high amount of speed, but i thought it was awesome on backhand. The enhanced control and spin was exactly what i needed to make my backhand shots better.

I think it is a great buy, if you can find some :).
